Creating a New Special Event Record

From the Special Events tab, click "New"

Choose "Leadership Seminars" for the record type

This will determine the fields that display as well as the page layout.

Populate the record and save.

  1. Special Event Name: Name your seminar. Use the naming convention: Year Seminar Type, Seminar Title, Date, Location. Examples below:
    1. 2023 Executive Seminar, August 12-18, Aspen, CO
    2. 2023 Custom Seminar, Samvid Scholars Cohort 3, Launch, July 21-23 NYC
  2. Program: Choose "Executive Leadership Seminars" in the Program field
  3. Type: Select appropriate special event type
  4. Venue: Enter the venue where the seminar is taking place. If the venue doesn't have an account record already, create a new account for the venue first.
  5. Start Date / End Date: Enter the start and end dates for the seminar.
  6. Registration Type: Select from options "Paid", "Free", "Custom" or "None"
  7. Billing Code: You can enter the Billing Code for the seminar using the naming convention: LOB_Department_Program (Parent): Program (Child).Examples below:
    1. LD_Seminars_AES: Seminar 4
    2. LD_Seminars_CLS: Samvid Scholars Seminar
