Engagement Studio/Welcome Series

When people are brought into the Pardot list, they automatically begin receiving our welcome series in Engagement Studio. This can be found by going to "Automations" in the top navigation bar and then "Engagement Studio" on the left hand nav bar.

There, you can see the welcome series we're running called "New Prospect Welcome Series". In the Report, you can see how many people have gone through each step and engagement rates for emails. In order to make adjustments to the series, you have to click "Pause" next to "Tools" towards the top right. Then, go to the "Build" tab next to "Test" to make changes.

The main change you'll make quarterly to the welcome series will be updating it with the latest version of Hit Pause so that the edition is relevant for people coming into the list at different times. You'd do this by clicking "Pause", then going to the "Build" tab, and then clicking on the email that says "Send Email (2)" towards the bottom of the diagram, as you can see below.

When you click on the envelope, you'll be able to update it with the most recent version of Hit Pause from the "Email Content" tab in the top navigation bar in Pardot. 

In order to ensure the email shows up in the dropdown, you'll need to activate the email you want included. You can do this by going to "Email Content" in the top navigation bar in Pardot, selecting the email you want included, and then clicking "Activate for Automation" towards the top right once you click on the down arrow next to "Test". See below.

Once this is completed, the email will show up in Engagement Studio when you're replacing the Hit Pause email in the dropdown menu with the latest version on a quarterly basis.
